What a miracle!
After having my second bout of basal cell carcinoma and MOHS surgery, I did not have much of my nose left! I was very distraught as I did not know what could be done to correct my "porky pig" nose. I had surgery with my first bout of skin cancer but this was much worse. I was hoping for some surgical magic without it being too intense. My wonderful plastic surgeon, who had operated after my MOHS surgery, suggested I contact Medical Art Prosthetics and highly praised their work. There would have been two to three surgeries for the plastic surgeon to correct my disfigured nose.
I first had a consultation with Allison and she explained the procedure. She showed me the silicone used for the prosthesis and answered all my questions (and I had plenty!). It eased my mind. She is very professional with a warm, caring nature and puts you at ease. This was all totally new to me as I did not know there was a prosthesis for the nose.
It takes a little practice to get it on correctly but practice makes perfect! I am no longer embarrassed about my nose and my family and friends compliment me on the looks of it. I am so pleased I made the decision for the prosthesis.

I want to say good things about Medical Art Prosthetics and how they helped me! I lost my eye in July 2003 and was going to a clinic local to me, but the eye they made was very ugly. So my brother, who is a dermatologist, received an informational package from Medical Art Prosthetics and gave it to me. Using that information, I met Allison and she made me the eye that I get rave reviews about. For example, "I never noticed until you said it was fake!"
I love Medical Art Prosthetics. They are the best.
