The original Medical Art Prosthetics location established in Dallas in 1985 continues to serve Texas and the southern United States under the leadership of owner and director Allison K. Vest, MS, CCA. Ms. Vest has served as secretary of the American Anaplastology Association and currently serves as president on the Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology.
Our clinic is a relaxed, private environment with a patient-centered approach. Allison’s patience and attention to detailed realism is of paramount importance to achieving a high level of patient acceptance.
Dallas’ metroplex is known for its robust medical community. Locally, we have access to medical technology such as 3D scanning and printing and skilled implant surgeons. Our clinic employs an insurance specialist fully dedicated to helping the patient navigate the authorization and reimbursement process.

One of the fastest growing cities in the United States, Dallas, Texas is home to 1.3 million people. Our Texas location is off of W. Louisiana Street in McKinney, which is only about a half hour drive away from Dallas.
The DFW metroplex is served by two large airports: Lovefield (DAL) and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW). Love field is approximately 40 miles away from our office. Dallas/Fort Worth airport is approximately 35 miles. Both airports offer taxi pickups, car rental services, shuttle services (Super Shuttle for example) and are popular locations for Uber.
If you are in the mood for something other than fast food or chain restaurants, you will find some delicious places to eat on our quaint, historic square. Visit The Butcher Board for a quick stop for a gourmet sandwich. If you’re in the mood for farm to table food, definitely try out Harvest, where the menu rotates with the seasons. A fun, hip place nearby is called Spoon’s Café, where you can get delicious food and watch some live music.

Allison Vest, MS, CCA
Allison Vest, MS, CCA of Medical Art Prosthetics received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New College in Sarasota, Florida in 2002. Her Master of Science degree was earned in 2004 from the University of Illinois at Chicago Graduate School of Biomedical Visualization. Ms. Vest is one of only two interns each year to receive the specialized facial prosthetics team oriented training as a medical artist / clinical anaplastologist in the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Clinic at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Medical Center.
Her post graduate facial prosthetics training includes an internship in the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Clinic at the University of Florida Medical Center and an externship at the Morriston Hospital in Swansea, Wales.

Vest, MS, CCA. With Ms. Vest the long-established practice has trained several intern anaplastologists and looks to an exciting future of advances in digital technology and prosthetics patient care.
Allison is married to Bryan Vest, a native Texan and local businessman. They have their home in Plano Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas. Ms. Vest has served as secretary of the American Anaplastology Association, is credited with creating the new International Anaplastology Association’s logo and currently serves as president of the Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology.
